About the PE Society
Our Events
The PE Society hosts guest speaker events virtually and on campus. We also organise office visits to the offices of PE firms across London. Our events provide an opportunity for students to learn from industry professionals, network with like-minded individuals, and gain valuable insights into the PE industry.
LSESU Private Equity
Mentorship
Students can be paired up with a professional in the industry from a variety of leading firms - KKR, Blackstone, Apollo, Ares, and Silver Lake to name a few. At the beginning and the end of the year, there will be a large networking session. After this, they will have fortnightly calls with their mentor to help them progress through university life and assist with recruiting. Previously, mentors have even organised office visits to provide greater exposure.
Research
We publish comprehensive research reports going over recent PE deals in the industry to help increase the commercial awareness of our members. We also publish short format decks to provide a rough overview of a topic or technical concept. These can be found in the reports section.
